Versatile Character Actor and Interactive Theatre Performer

John Michael Decker is known for his character work and depth of interactive theatre experience, spanning decades as a verity of characters on the cast of the Sterling Renaissance Festival outside of Oswego, NY, as Scrooge at the interactive Dickens Christmas Festival in Skaneateles New York, and as jolly old St. Nicholas at Santa Land in Macy’s on 34th street. 

Among his favorite roles in other productions have been Dr. Watson in the Lake George Dinner Theatre’s production of Hound of the Baskerville‘s, Benny in the short film, Messy Boys for Dirty Sweater Productions, the Sheriff of Nottingham at the Steamer No. 10 Theater in Albany and Hercule Poirot for iTheatre/the Creative Place in Saratoga Springs. 

For six years John traveled the country performing in a number of comedy sword fighting shows with his good friend, Joe Petrolawicz.
